Kabaddi x Australian Football League

It’s 1 for #teamaustralia and 1 for #teamindia for the sporting capital of Australia, Melbourne! Hosting the absolute beast that was @prokabaddi x @pklmelbourneraid post @cricketaustralia Boxing Day Test before thousands at @johncainarena home of the @australianopen (and millions worldwide) was electrifying. When @prokabaddi debuted in India in 2014, 435 million people watched it all the way back then and for the PKL to pick Melbourne, Australia, as the first match (and team) to be played outside of the country is an absolute coup. I grew up around this sport, my dad played since he was a little boy through college and we love watching it so to be asked to host this incredible event was an absolute dream come true and such an immense joy to share this sport with my fellow Aussies who I believe will love this sport also - it is SO entertaining and fun! Whilst the @prokabaddi ALL-STARS won on the night, the utmost respect and congratulations go to our Aussie team, ex @afl champions, @pklmelbourneraid who learned a sport many had never heard of in a matter of weeks ago showing up with courage and not only the “let’s have a go” attitude that is so quintessentially Australian, but came in as “big-steppers” never saying die.
